Quiz Night Saturday 19th February 2011

Come along to our Charity Quiz Night in aid of the CUDECA Cancer Charity Foundation.

The evening takes place in El Ancla Restaurant and starts at 7pm.

With prizes on offer and a quality meal provided (Ribs, Jacket Potato & Home-Made Coleslaw) in the interval this promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable evening and costs just €9 per person with all proceeds going to the Cudeca Charity.

18th Birthday Party - 9th December 2010

Hi David,
Our party was fantastic! The function room was spacious, warm, and beautifully laid up. We appreciated being able to come in at 4pm and decorate the room. When we arrived there was a lovely atmosphere with happy, friendly staff which continued all evening with nothing being too much trouble for them. The service was excellent with never-ending tapas being served straight to the tables and the food was delicious! Cava poured at exactly the right time and tables discreetly moved for dancing. The band were brilliant and got the party swinging from the very start. Everyone has said how much they enjoyed themselves.

For me, the thought of organising an 18th birthday party was daunting but I did nothing. You organised everything perfectly!! All I had to do was come and enjoy myself. Morgan had an absolute ball. My recommendation for your venue is Five Star and I´d say to anyone wanting a party "Choose El Ancla". With many, many thanks,

25th August 2010 - 70th Birthday party

Well, what an amazing do! All thanks to David & his staff at El Ancla. A wonderful setting, right on the seas edge. A great musician and singer - Kevin, and the food was stupendous. We had 34 guests & everyone said it was the best party they had attended. The selection of drink was unbelievable (it must have been as it all went). Again, all thanks to David for organising the event. We can certainly recommend this venue for any special occasion.
